Most of Drilling Supply’s mineral exploration drilling rigs are compatible with both Diamond Core and Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling. Both systems feature various mounting configurations, which include: skid, crawler or buggy mounted and platform (jack up) rigs.

All our standard equipment is built to flawlessly operate in various temperatures and altitudes. The standard operating temperatures vary between -45 °C and +50 °C. For instance, our drilling rigs are currently operating in Mexico and Brazil where temepratures peak as high +40 to +45 °C summer time, in Labrador & James Bay (Canada) in temperatures as low as -40 to -45°C and in Philippines at altitudes that exceed 3,500 feet (1,100 m) on the Palawan Island. Moreover, for working temperatures outside the standard operating range, we can boost the engine's cooling capacity and hydraulic thermal transfer, which will allow the unit to operate at temperatures within +55 to - 55 °C.

We currently offer four lines of exploration rigs, GENIUS series, EXPLO series, EASY DRILL series and MINE MASTER series. First two lines, the GENIUS series and EXPLO series, are identical when it comes to power characteristics and depth capabilities, with their main technical differences being the frame assembly (open concept vs. fully covered), the operating controls (hydraulic vs. electronic) and the rod handling system.

The idea is to give our customers the freedom of choice between GENIUS rig series, a less expensive and simple by design machines, relying on robust HYDRAULIC controls and EXPLO, a more expensive, high-tech drilling rig, featuring a sophisticated electronic control system and higher efficiency.
