Underground Core Drill Rig model C517-c with electric power

This unit was designed and built specifically for underground operations. It could be completely dismantled on the surface and lowered down to the mine through the shaft elevator. Once inside the mine it is reassembled and ready for operations in the matter of hours (See drawing below). The entire operation takes approximately 4 hours and can be performed by a relatively small crew.

The unit features a Rotary actuator, covering a lateral drilling area of 360°, which is a MUST for underground conditions. Other advantages of the C517-c are it's simplicity (fully hydraulic operation controls), it's pullback capacity of 17500 Lbs <> 77.8 KN and it's hydraulic power of 100 HP.

These features give the small but tough C517-c enough power to drill in any type of mixed hard ground formations.

Please note that the specifications below can be adapted to your needs. For example, the
C517-c can be mounted on skid, platform or trailer.

Special modular design allows the C517-C to be assembled and disassembled in place in highly restrictive environment and once disassembled can fit on 1.2 m X 1.2 m <> 4’ X 4’ elevator platform.
